About me

l'optimiste: Cheshire, Staffordshire, United Kingdom; I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, stage 3b in February 2008 at the age of 46. I had a total hysterectomy + oophorectomy, then completed 6 cycles of chemotherapy. On the 19th of May 2014, I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage / brain aneurysm and 4 days later, a stroke. I now have aphasia. But I am still here. Onward and upward!
